WELCOME TO SARAH HUMPHREY RACING

Sarah Humphrey’s successful training operation is based at Yen Hall Farm, a few miles outside Newmarket. Sarah is a dedicated, hard working racehorse trainer who has held a dual purpose public licence since March 2008 having previously held a permit, trained point to pointers and evented.

Sarah’s plan has always been to remain a relatively small, hands-on trainer with no more than a couple of dozen horses so that each of the horses receive her individual attention. Yen Hall Farm provides the ideal base being a working arable and sheep farm of 250 acres in South Cambridgeshire, about eight miles from Newmarket, it creates a relaxed environment for the horses, with plenty of paddocks but with great facilities at home and the superb training grounds in Newmarket just a 15 minute box drive away.

We hope you find this new and updated website informative and should you be interested in the possibility of getting involved in a small but highly successful team Sarah would love to hear from you and be delighted to show you just what Yen Hall Farm has to offer.

HERE’S WHAT SOME PEOPLE SAY ABOUT US:

Trying to find the right trainer when buying a horse can be tough but, how lucky I was finding Sarah Humphrey. I was looking for a trainer who could give me and my horse “the personal treatment” and with Sarah, I got just that.

The whole process from buying a share in our horse, to getting colours and being updated by Sarah on a regular basis has been so easy. I think with a smaller yard this is what you get and I must admit it is very exciting being connected with Sarah, who is one of the best up and coming trainers around!

As an agent, I’m always trying to find up and coming trainers to help me progress in the world of Bloodstock . Meeting Sarah Humphrey at the time I did could not have worked out any better as her in-depth knowledge of the form book and her natural eye for a quality animal has helped both of us. Sarah knows exactly what she requires from a horse and I would have no hesitation in sending owners to her as her training of Toby Jug and Carpincho has been top drawer and she is a trainer striving to get the best from every horse

I follow you as a trainer. One of the best around in my opinion!

The best racing we have had is with Yen Hall Farm Racing – in our view the best racing syndicate there is! We are kept really well informed and made to feel really welcomed and involved. The atmosphere is great and so is the company

Sarah’s love of horses really shines through and she is very informative about the well-being of the horses and what she hopes to achieve from each race meeting.
